M.Sc. in Life Science/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/Botany/ Zoology/ Genetics/ Env Scior related subjects with 60% marks or 6.50 CGPA in 10 point scale with GATE or NET of UGC/CSIR/ICMR/DBT/ICAR (Lectureship/JRF) candidates OR M.Tech. in Biotechnology/ Env. Engg/ Chemical Engg with GATE score.
JRF (Mechanical Engineering)
Applicants should hold a M.Tech/M.E degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics Engineering.
JRF (Chemical Engineering)
Master’s degree (M.E./M.Tech.) in Engineering(Mechanical/Chemical/ Computer/Petroleumor allied branch of Engineering) with minimum CGPA of 6.5/10.0 (or 60% aggregate) OR a Bachelor’s degree (B.E./B.Tech.) in Engineering (Chemical/Mechanical/ Electronics/ Material Science/ Biotechnology orallied branch of Engg) with a Minimum CGPA of 8.0/10.0 (or 75% aggregate) OR Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in Science (from above mentioned branches) with minimum CGPA of 6.5/10.0 (or 60% aggregate). Successful score in GATE exam is preferred.

Job Description-
Junior Research Fellow (JRF) Life Science- To carry out research work & experiments related to the project and to continue Ph.D. at NIT Rourkela on the topic of this project work.
Rs.31,000/-P.M. for 1st and 2nd year; Rs. 35,000/-for 3rd year.

Junior Research Fellow (JRF) Mechanical Engineering- (i) Modelling, simulation and fabrication of autonomous underwater vehicle. (ii) Assist the PI in preparation of reports related to the research work. (iii) Other works related to the project.

Junior Research Fellow (JRF) Chemical  Engineering- To develop Lattice Boltzmann method numerical solver in (in C++ or Fortran programming language) for high Mach number compressible flows.
